BruinTech Speed Dating is an event aimed at enhancing IT literacy and innovation among UCLA Staff. The event is structured as a form of “speed dating for technology” format. As part of Data Privacy Month, volunteer IT professionals will run a series of 10-minute demonstration sessions on a number of online privacy enhancing tools and techniques, including:
• Password management
• Social media settings
• Ad blockers
• Browser settings
• Setting up a VPN at UCLA
• Laptop theft recovery
• Smartphone settings
• UCLA cloud service offerings
