The UC Electronic Communications Policy (ECP), a presidential policy, establishes principles, rules, and procedures that address use of electronic communications. The ECP applies to all members of the University community.
UCLA Policy 410 implements the relevant provisions of the ECP that concern nonconsensual access to electronic communications records when the consent of the record holder cannot be obtained.
For additional guidance on the ECP or Policy 410’s nonconsensual access process, please contact UCLA’s ECP Coordinator, Kent Wada, at: kent@ucla.edu or 310-206-3874.
